McCoy Memorial Library to Host ‘Lawyer in the Library’ Program

MCLEANSBORO – Hamilton County’s “Lawyer in the Library” program has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 17, with additional dates already set through the end of this year.
The program will take place at the McCoy Memorial Library, located at 130 S. Washington St. in McLeansboro.
Local attorney Shannon Appleton will be on hand for 20 minute sessions to help you with free legal coaching, document review, questions regarding electronic filing and referrals. You should bring with you all paperwork related to you legal questions and sign in at the desk when you arrive.
Sessions will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 and again on Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Tuesday, Dec. 12.
These free services are made possible by grant funding obtained by the Office of the Chief Judge for the Second Judicial Circuit from the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice and the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts.
