CARBONDALE – Injuries were reported in a weekend crash in Carbondale.
According to Carbondale Police, around 1:35 Sunday afternoon, police responded to the intersection of North Illinois Avenue and West Industrial Park Road for a traffic crash.
During the course of the investigation, officers learned a vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic when it turned onto North Illinois Avenue from West Industrial Park Road causing the crash.
Occupants of both vehicles were taken to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for injuries resulting from the crash. One of the victims was listed as having serious injuries.
Carbondale Police continue to investigate the crash.
