MT. VERNON – Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 57-year-old Ashley man Friday night in connection with a September search of his home.
According to the sheriff’s office, Robert “Robbie” Paul, of Riddle Lane in Ashley, was arrested on felony charges of child pornography and criminal sexual assault of a person under the age of 18.
Paul remains in the Jefferson County Jail pending a detention hearing in Jefferson County Court.
The sheriff’s office confirms a search warrant executed at Paul’s home in September, where evidence in the investigation was seized, led to his Friday arrest.
