MT. VERNON (WMIX) – A trial date was tentatively set Wednesday in Jefferson County Court for a 69-year-old Mt. Vernon woman charged with child pornography.
Pamela J. Hiatt was arrested in May on a warrant charging her with child pornography.
A tentative date of Feb. 27 was set Monday for a jury trial in the case, and a final pretrial hearing was set for Feb. 20.
Court records show Hiatt was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and released after posting $75,000 cash bond.
The investigation began April 26 after deputies received a cyber tip through their membership with the task force.
They secured search warrants for digital records and reportedly recovered evidence during a search of Hiatt’s home in the 900 block of Warren Avenue.
