BENTON – Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon announced this week the promotion of Marie Johnson to the rank of Captain at the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Bacon says Capt. Johnson had previously served as a Shift Sergeant and Administrative Lieutenant within the jail facility. Her new position will be that of the Franklin County Jail Administrator and she will be responsible for the day to day operations within the jail.
Capt. Johnson is a graduate of Benton High School and will soon be entering her 18th year of employment with the sheriff’s office.
