Deputies Stop, Arrest Man for Threatening People with Gun in Marion

MARION – A man has been arrested in Williamson County for threatening people with a gun.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to 10900 Redco Drive in Marion Saturday and saw the suspect, identified as Ronald L. Bellamy, fleeing from the scene.

Deputies stopped the vehicle Bellamy was driving. Bellamy told deputies quote “I don’t have no gun on me.” He was then detained.

A subsequent investigation recovered a Black and Silver Taurus 9mm handgun, two 9mm handgun magazines, and eight rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Bellamy was arrested and cited for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Aggravated Assault (two counts). He was then taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
