All lanes of northbound I-57 north of Lick Creek in Union County are now open.
ORIGINAL STORY
LICK CREEK – There was a fiery crash around 7:50 Thursday morning on northbound I-57 north of Lick Creek in Union County.
According to Illinois State Police, the two-vehicle crash involved a semi with trailer that ran off the roadway, went down an embankment, rolled over and caught fire. Minor injuries were reported.
ISP says the right lane will remain shut down until the truck can be safely removed. No further information is available.
