BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Monday, Feb. 4, 2024.
1-29-24 Ostin K. Huite, age 18, of West Frankfort was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
1-30-24 Joshua J. Kempf, age 36, of Thompsonville was arrested for domestic battery.
1-30-24 Jonathan L. Pedigo, age 36, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for having an expired registration.
1-30-24 Hayden N. Sellers, age 20, of West Frankfort was issued traffic citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
1-30-24 Brandon C. Watkins, age 39, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
1-30-24 Zachary R. Adams, age 39, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for no valid registration.
1-28-24 Dylan S. Zagar, age 30, of Benton was arrested for aggravated battery.
1-31-24 Daniel S. Primo, age 36, of Thompsonville was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
1-31-24 Michelle A. Carlson, age 51, of West Frankfort was issued a traffic citation for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
1-31-24 Roy B. Samel, age 49, of Coello was issued a traffic citation for no valid driver’s license.
2-1-24 Joshua D. Wisely, age 42, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-1-24 Taylor M. Wilburn, age 26, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-1-24 Teresa R. Beasley, age 60, of Logan was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-1-24 Jacob A. Stroud, age 30, of Benton was issued traffic citations for speeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
2-1-24 Cesiley A. Mize, age 28, of West Frankfort was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
2-1-24 Robert D. Jarvis, age 20, of Carterville was issued a traffic citation for adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle.
2-2-24 Landon T. Edwards, age 24, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-2-24 Brian P Whitt, age 43, of West Frankfort was arrested for driving while license suspended and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Whitt also had a Franklin County failure to appear warrant for possession of methamphetamine.
2-2-24 Timohty A. Coates, age 55, of Royalton was issued a traffic citation for driving while license suspended.
2-2-24 Kalee J. Gresham, age 31, of Logan was issued a traffic citation for having an expired registration.
2-2-24 Ashley L. Turner, age 35, of Stonefort, IL was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-3-24 Mark A. Hall, age 28, of Zeigler was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-3-24 Mckailah M. Gooden, age 29, of Herrin was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-3-24 Kenneth H. Eubanks, age 61, of Sesser was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
2-3-24 Randall J. Stanton, age 45, of Buckner was arrested for domestic battery.
2-4-24 Rachel N. Russell, age 29, of Elkville was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield to a stationary emergency vehicle (Scott’s Law).
2-5-24 Zackary T. Melcher, age 28, of Marion was issued traffic citations for speeding and driving while license suspended.

1-31-24 Ridge A. Alvis, age 34, of Du Quoin was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
2-1-24 Gregory A. Jeffers, age 57, of Springfield, IL. Failure to appear for failure to register as a sex offender.
2-1-24 Tyler J. Cocke, age 21, of Benton. Two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
2-1-24 Ashley M. Arnold, age 36, of Marion. Battery
2-2-24 Allen L. Gervais, age 61, of Harrisburg. Retail theft.
2-3-24 Cassandra E. Beatty, age 24, of Benton. Washington County warrant for violation of probation.
