Suspect Sought for Shooting, Killing Horse in Cambria

CAMBRIA – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says they need your help finding the person responsible for shooting and killing a horse.

According to the sheriff’s office, just after 2 p.m. on Jan. 31, deputies responded to the 14000 block of Laminack Road in Cambria to the report of a horse with a gunshot wound to the head. The owner said that he located his horse lying down in the fenced-in area where it is kept when he arrived home from work.

The time frame this incident could have occurred is between the hours of 8 a.m. to 1:55 p.m. Investigators believe it is more likely to have occurred in the afternoon prior to 1:55 p.m.
