CARMI – Carmi Police arrested a woman at Dollar General Monday night after officers were sent there to trespass a suspect on a prior retail theft.
According to police, 18-year-old Adeline M. Crain, of Carmi, was not cooperative and resisted arrest. Crain bit one officer and spit on another officer.
Crain was taken to the White County Jail where she was booked. Bail was not set.
Crain is charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, one count of Resisting/Obstructing causing injury, and one count of Retail Theft.
