Black Diamond Harley-Davidson Gives $45K in Scholarships to Local High School Students

MARION – Black Diamond Harley-Davidson and local community colleges are teaming up for the 15th straight year to provide $45,000 in scholarships to local high school students.

Recipients were nominated and chosen by their school’s administrative staff and faculty. In all, 45 local high school students receive a $1,000 scholarship to go to their community college. Scholarships are funded by Rodney Cabaness and Shad Zimbro, co-owners of Black Diamond, and the region’s four community colleges.

Scholarship recipients will be honored at a special luncheon on Saturday in TJ’s Diamond Club at Mtn Dew Park.
