CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale says Grand Avenue will be closed this week between Illinois Avenue and Washington Street due to Canadian National Railway construction improvement projects.
Detours will be clearly marked in this area.
Drivers are encouraged to use the Mill Street underpass.
The city apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and looks forward to having Grand Avenue back open for traffic swiftly.
