MARION – Withers Broadcasting and Dana Communications will host the Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive Monday.
It will run from noon to 5 p.m. in the Charter Lounge at Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois in Marion.
Mikane Rainscammer, with the American Red Cross, says all types are needed especially O negative because it is the most used blood type.
Before giving blood, you should eat a healthy meal and drink an extra 16 ounces of water and fluids before your donation.
There will also be some goodies for you after your donation Monday.
