ANNA/MARION/MT. VERNON – Three Deaconess Hospitals in southern Illinois will have new names Monday.
They are Union County Hospital in Anna, Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, and Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
A celebration will be held on the grounds at each facility to introduce their new name.
Union County Hospital will reveal its new name at 9 a.m. followed by Heartland Regional Medical Center at 11:30 a.m., and Crossroads Community Hospital at 2:30 p.m.
Hospital employees and leaders as well as community leaders and members will be on hand at each event.
Deaconess CEO Shawn McCoy and Deaconess Illinois Region President William Davis will make remarks.
