HURST – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a late Sunday night hit-and-run accident involving a bicycle and another vehicle in Hurst.
The sheriff’s office says the bicycle operator was transferred to an area trauma center in serious condition.
Northbound Illinois Route 149 in Hurst had to be temporarily shut down. A short detour route was available with minimal delay.
