CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police continue to investigate damage done to the Carbondale Super Splash Park on South Lewis Lane over the weekend.
Police responded to the Splash Park just before 10 Saturday morning for a report of Criminal Trespass and Criminal Damage to Property.
Officers learned that overnight, suspects damaged a significant amount of property at the facility that affected overall operations of the park due to safety concerns.
After significant clean up and safety inspections, the Super Splash Park will reopen to the public this Saturday.
