BELLE PRAIRIE – Donald Eugene Aydt, age 82, a resident of Belle Prairie, IL, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in McLeansboro, IL.
Donald was born July 30, 1942, in Piopolis, IL. He married Lois Ann Bayler on March 22, 1972 in Piopolis, IL. He worked as a multi job employee for FS-Wabash Valley.
Don liked to gardening and playing cards on the computer.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. John’s Nepomucene Catholic Chapel in Dahlgren, IL. Burial will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Piopolis, IL.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lois; one daughter, Lisa Ann Kraft and husband, Mark, of Belleville, IL. She is also survived by two sisters, Pat Anselment and husband Albert, of Dahlgren, IL., and Juanita Wellen and husband, Mert, of Piopois, IL.
Donald was preceded in death by parents, and one brother, Larry Paul Aydt.
Memorials will be received at Harre Funeral Home for St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.
