MARION – An extra police presence will be in and around Marion Unit 2 Schools today.
Marion Superintendent Becky Moss says this decision was made after Marion Police and school district administrators investigated and collaborated on all reports of school violence posted on TikTok, Snapchat, and other social media platforms. At this time there is no threat to any Marion school.
Please continue to report anything of concern to school officials. Unfortunately, there are many districts dealing with this latest Tik Tok Challenge.
Student and staff safety is the district’s number one priority.
