MURPHYSBORO – Murphysboro Police along with several other agencies in our area are investigating several auto burglaries and vehicle thefts over the last few weeks.
Police are urging you to lock your vehicles.
If your vehicle is stolen or burglarized, please call Murphysboro Police as soon as possible or police in your area.
Here are some things you can do to prevent vehicle theft.
If possible, secure your vehicle in a garage. Never leave your vehicle unattended while running. Don’t leave your spare keys in your vehicle. Always roll up windows and secure your vehicle. And park in well-lit areas when possible.
