MT. VERNON – The city of Mt. Vernon says Mannen Street from 27th to Cherry will be closed from 4 to 7 Tuesday evening for paving.
North 27th Street from Broadway to the railroad tracks will be closed Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for paving.
The street will be paved one lane at a time. Residents residing on the lane being paved, may experience up to a two hour block for the paving. Residents on the opposite side of street will be able to use the street until their lane is paved and the residents affected will be reversed.
Please follow all posted signs and instructions from workers for your safety and the safety of others. Plan your route accordingly to avoid delays.
