CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police continue to investigate a report of shots fired in the 500 block of South Beveridge Street Sunday afternoon.
Police responded around 3:30 p.m. and determined the suspect had already fled in a gray Toyota Sienna van.
During the investigation, police learned the shots were fired in the area where a fight had just happened between acquaintances who were involved in a personal dispute. No injuries were reported. A building was damaged as a result of bullet strikes.
