MARION – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports from residents receiving phone calls claiming they failed to report for jury duty and must now pay a fine.
These calls are fraudulent and should be treated as a scam.
If you receive a call regarding jury duty and are unclear of your obligations, please call or visit the jury commission at the Williamson County Courthouse. The jury commission can be reached at 618-997-1301.
