CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are awaiting the extradition of a Tennessee man back to Jackson County after they say he fired several shots at a home in the 500 block of East Willow Street causing damage and then left the area running north Monday afternoon.
Officers arrived at the scene at 12:40 p.m. after getting a report of an Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. The suspect, later identified by detectives as 29-year-old Andre L. Woodruff, was not located at the time.
Detectives got a Jackson County arrest warrant for Woodruff for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon. Woodruff was located and arrested by officers in Portland, Tennessee and will be brought back to Jackson County. No injuries were reported.
