CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are urging you to be safe as we enter the colder part of the year.
Police say it’s convenient to start our vehicles and let them not only warm up but also allow the windows to be completely defrosted. This, however, allows easy access for anyone who is contemplating stealing your car.
Police ask that you consider using a remote starting device or remain with your vehicle during this time to help avoid auto theft. Also, please completely clear your windows before driving this winter allowing you better visibility as you travel.
