MCLEANSBORO – Anna Mae Weatherholtz, age 83, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in McLeansboro, IL.
Anna was born January 24, 1941, in Belle Prairie, IL. She was the daughter of Bill Bennett and Myrtle (Koker) Bennett. She loved crafting, working puzzles and most of all visiting with friends and family.
Anna attended Dahlgren Baptist Church, Dahlgren, IL.
Anna served in the United States Marine Corps, the American Legion Post 106. The National Marine Corps Military Honors will provide military graveside services.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, December 16, 2024, at Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren, IL, with funeral services following visitation. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dahlgren, IL, with Pastor Brad Sloan officiating.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Miller and husband Steve, Dahlgren, IL; grandchildren, Kristi Koontz and husband, Tyler, Fairfield, IL, and Dustin Miller, Mt. Vernon, IL; great grandchildren, Kyleigh Koontz, Tynzleigh Koontz, McKynzie Koontz, Devin Miller and Zeppelin Miller. Also surviving is a brother, Phillip “Butch” Bennett and wife, Sandra, Norris City, IL.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Linda Donavin.
