AVA – An Ava woman was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries following a one-vehicle crash on Little Kinkaid Road, about a mile east of Keller Highway, in rural Ava just after 8 Saturday morning.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 51-year-old Lisa McAulay was driving her van west on Little Kinkaid Road when she lost control of her vehicle and left the north side of the roadway. She collided with a tree causing debilitating damage and was towed away.
McAulay was extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital for her injuries.
The sheriff’s office was assisted on scene by the Ava and Campbell Hill fire departments and the Jackson County Ambulance Service.
