CREAL SPRINGS – Two stolen vehicles were found and recovered by Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies around 4:15 a.m. Thursday in the Sugar Creek area south of Creal Springs.
A Jeep and an ATV were found while conducting a search in that area. Deputies were acting upon an earlier tip which led them to canvass the wooded area.
Both vehicles were located on riding trails one mile from the nearest roadway. The Jeep appeared to have been operating on the rough terrain in a manner which destroyed the vehicle. It was previously reported stolen out of Marion and the ATV out of rural Williamson County.
Specialized tow equipment, assisted by the sheriff’s office ATV patrol unit, were used to recover the vehicles.
