HAMILTON COUNTY – Norma Lee Hart, age 89, passed away at 10:56 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2024, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren, IL.
Visitation will be held form 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 28, with the funeral at 1 p.m., at Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren, IL, with Pastor Brad Sloan and Pastor John Ashby officiating.
Norma was born June 21, 1935, in Thackeray, IL, to Walter Ledford and Freda Tittle. She married Evan L. Hart on April 4, 1954, in Corinth, MS. He passed away November 12, 2013. She attended Dahlgren Baptist Church. She sewed, cooked, babysat for her children and others, loved crafting and working for her church.
Survivors include sons, Terry Hart and wife, Sheila, of Mt. Vernon, IL, Barry C. Hart of McLeansboro, IL, and Jeffrey W. Hart and wife, Kimberly, of Mt. Vernon, IL; sister, Nettie Bayler and husband, Harold, of Thackeray, IL; brother-in-law Harold Stinson of Carmi, IL; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Hart of Blue Island, IL, and Flo Ann Hart of McLeansboro, IL; grandchildren, Travis Hart, Wade Hart, Jonathon Hart, Brandon Hart, Alex Hart and Brandon W. Hart; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Hart, Corryn Hart and Evan Hart.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Evan; and son, Jack Hart
