MT. VERNON – A Mt. Vernon man is facing charges after Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were called out to a home in the 21000 block of North Tolle Lane in Texico involving an alleged violation of an active order of protection Saturday night.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrived, spoke with the residents and found the suspect, 48-year-old Michael D. Glenn Jr., nearby.
As Glenn Jr. was taken into custody, evidence of other criminal activity was located on his person. He was arrested for Violating the Order of Protection, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Meth under 5 grams and Armed Violence. He was taken to and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail until his pretrial detention hearing.
