Meth, Alcohol Found in Vehicle at Marion Traffic Stop, Driver Arrested

MARION – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies cited a woman for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol following a recent traffic stop on Market Road and Timberline Drive south of Marion

According to the sheriff’s office, Emily J. Taylor was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.

Just after 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, deputies saw Taylor going north on Market Road near Timberline Drive and knew she had an active arrest warrant out of Williamson County for Possession of Methamphetamine.  

Taylor was stopped at the intersection of Market and Texas Avenue and taken into custody without further incident.

An inventory of the vehicle located meth, hypodermic syringes, drug paraphernalia and an open alcoholic beverage.
