CLARKSVILLE, TN – Robert Greenwood Marrs, 82, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
He was born on June 4, 1942, in Pesotum, IL, to M.F. and Josephine (Greenwood) Marrs. He married Barbara (Arndt) Marrs on June 11, 1966, and she survives of Clarksville, TN.
He is also survived by his children, Tamie (David) Green of LaFayette, KY, Tracey Smith of Oliver Springs, TN, Steven (Christy) Marrs of Springfield, TN, and Tara Marrs of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Haley (Blake) Joiner, Lance Green, and Sarah Channell; and one great- granddaughter, Blakely Joiner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Richard Kent Marrs.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1 p.m., at the Herrin City Cemetery with Al Jewell officiating. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
