CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are looking for a suspect allegedly involved in an armed robbery in the 900 block of East Main Street Monday night.
Police responded to the business around 6:35 p.m. and learned the suspect walked in, showed an alleged firearm and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a black male standing 5’6” tall weighing 240 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black athletic shorts and white shoes. He fled on foot from the business going west.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned the suspect was last seen running south near the intersection of South Cedarview and East Walnut Street.
