WILLIAMSON COUNTY – A car hit a downed tree around 8:45 Monday night on Spillway Road near Hayton School Road in Williamson County.
According to Williamson County Sheriff Jeff Diederich, the fallen tree was the result of ongoing winter storm activity.
When deputies arrived, they found the vehicle’s airbag had been deployed and the driver suffered minor injuries. EMS assisted the driver, but declined further treatment at the scene.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and the roadway was closed for tree removal by the Williamson County Highway Department.
