Remaining SouthEastern Illinois Electric Customers Should Have Power Restored by the Weekend

CARRIER MILLS – SouthEastern Illinois Electric Coop announced Tuesday they received additional line and forestry crews from around the state yesterday to help in the effort to restore power to 9900 members left without service.

They are hoping to have everyone back on by this weekend.

They know that temperatures are going to be extremely cold over the next few days and suggest that if you do not have an alternative heat source for your home, you should seek shelter somewhere else. They understand the frustrations; the damage from this storm has been devastating to their system and is widespread.
