NWS Issues Winter Weather Advisory, Winter Storm Warning as More Snow Heads Our Way

PADUCAH – The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri from midnight Thursday night to midnight Friday night.

Snow is expected with total accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

Meanwhile, Alexander, Pulaski and Union counties are under a Winter Storm Warning from midnight Thursday night to midnight Friday night.

Heavy snow is expected with total accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
