WEST FRANKFORT – The City of West Frankfort says when cleaning up your winter storm debris, trees and limbs must be cut 6’ in length and stacked neatly on the boulevard or alleyway where equipment can get to it safely.
The city dump will be open for residents only weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. No commercial dumping will be allowed. Staff will be present on the grounds.
No trash, building materials or any household items will be picked up.
Workers or equipment will not be allowed on private property.
If a commercial tree company cuts your trees, make sure to have them haul them off. The city will not take them.
Residents can apply for assistance cutting up debris at franklincountyil.gov/eoc.
