HERRIN – The City of Herrin is telling residents Public Works will pick up and haul away ice storm tree debris until further notice. They stress this is only for Herrin residents.
Residents should cut up their fallen tree debris in manageable piles and place them at the edge of the road or shoulder for pick up. Do not put debris near drainage culverts and storm drains.
Public Works also can’t get heavy machinery into homeowners yards.
