HARRISBURG – The Saline County Law Enforcement and Detention Center in Harrisburg has a new name.
It is now known as the Saline County Law Enforcement and George F. Henley Detention Center.
Henley served as sheriff from 1978 to 1998. He has since passed.
Henley played a instrumental role in advocating for the construction of the center.
