CARMI – White County Sheriff Jordan Weiss says it has been brought to the sheriff’s office’s attention that scammers may be using the inmate search feature to contact family members falsely claiming they can help release loved ones for a fee.
The sheriff says do not send money or share personal information. Verify any claims with official sources, stay alert and protect yourself.
