PADUCAH – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will continue a work zone lane restriction on the U.S. 51 Ohio River “Cairo” Bridge between Wickliffe and Cairo until about March 1.
Crews are replacing deck railing along the bridge.
A temporary traffic signal is in place to control alternating traffic flow through the work zone. Delays are possible.
The U.S. 51 Bridge Replacement Project is now in the Final Design stage.
