Hamilton Memorial Foundation Announces 2025 Careers in Healthcare Scholarships

MCLEANSBORO – The Hamilton Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce the return of the Careers in Healthcare Scholarship program, designed to help local high school seniors pursue careers in the healthcare industry. Recognizing the challenges rural communities face in accessing educational resources, the Foundation is committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As in previous years, a minimum of one $1,000 scholarship will continue to be available to graduating seniors at Hamilton County Senior High, Norris City-Omaha-Enfield High School, and Carmi-White County High School. This year, the scholarship program has been extended to include at least one $1,000 award for students who are homeschooled in either White County or Hamilton County.

Additionally, the Foundation will make available the Continuing Education in Healthcare scholarship in the amount of $500 to previous recipients of the Careers in Healthcare Scholarship, further supporting those who wish to continue their educational journey in the healthcare field.

For more information or to apply, please contact your high school Guidance Counselor or reach out to Lindsay Hansen, Foundation Director, at LHansen@hmhospital.org or 618-643-5863. Applications may be found online at hmhospital.org/foundation and are due no later than March 3.
