SPRINGFIELD – Over $58,000 in college scholarships will be awarded by the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association throughout the state to students wishing to pursue higher education during the 2025-2026 academic year.
The scholarships, ranging from $500 to $1,000, will be used for tuition, books and fees only. The student must be enrolled full-time at a certified institution of higher learning within Illinois. Online learning at an Illinois based school is also acceptable.
Applications are now available online at www.ilsheriff.org/youth-2.
The deadline to apply is Friday, March 14.
