MCLEANSBORO – Betty Ann Shuster, age 90, of McLeansboro passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Pastor Jacob Gray officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro immediately following.
Betty was born on May 8, 1934, in Hamilton County to Charles Val Bethel and Bydia York Raulston. On January 20, 1955, she married Robert “Bob” Shuster. He passed away on January 25, 2014.
Betty Ann and Bob moved to St. Louis, MO, in May 1957 where she worked for Washington University, Peabody Coal Company and Brown Shoe Company before moving back to their home in McLeansboro in 1995. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in McLeansboro.
Betty Ann is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Rheinecker (husband Steven); one grandson, Braden Rheinecker and fiancé Rachel Collins; one granddaughter, Brooke Rheinecker Repp (husband Austin); and great-grandchildren, Collins Ray Rheinecker and Lucas Allen Repp. Both of her parents preceded her in death along with her husband of 59 years, Bob.
