Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Parts of Southern Illinois

PADUCAH – With wintry weather on the way, the National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Pope, Saline, Union, White and Williamson counties from midnight tonight to 6 p.m. Tuesday.   

Mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
