Carrier Mills Police Arrest Man after Finding Meth in Home

CARRIER MILLS – A man was recently arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine after meth was found at a Carrier Mills home.  

Carrier Mills Police responded to the home last Wednesday after a 911 call was made. Police found a person at the home who had an active arrest warrant. They were taken into custody.

After making that arrest, police saw 65-year-old Jose A. Ramos sit down in a chair and put his hands immediately under the chair cushion.

Police asked Ramos to stand up from the chair. They found four plastic baggies suspected to be meth.

Ramos was the arrested and taken to the Saline County Jail where he was cited for the meth offense.
