Man Arrested for Domestic Battery at Carmi McDonald’s

CARMI – A Norris City man has been charged with Domestic Battery following an incident at the Carmi McDonald’s Monday.

Carmi Police say 56-year-old Tony G. Johnson was taken to the White County Jail. He will have to see a judge upon release.

An officer responded to an active domestic battery in the McDonald’s parking lot around 9:30 a.m.

An eyewitness told police she saw Johnson swatting and making physical contact with a woman in the passenger seat of a Jeep in the parking lot.

Police say no complaints were signed.

Johnson was then arrested, charged with Domestic Battery and taken to jail.
