Man Arrested in Weekend Burglary on East Main in Carbondale

CARBONDALE – A Carbondale man has been charged with Commercial Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property and Resisting a Peace Officer in connection with a late Saturday night burglary in the 2200 block of East Main Street in Carbondale.

Carbondale Police say 36-year-old Daniel K. Patterson is lodged in the Jackson County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.

Police responded just after 11 p.m. Saturday to the East Main Street location regarding a burglary in progress.

While responding to the scene, police learned Patterson had been seen on the roof of the business, which had previously reported property damage and items stolen.

Patterson attempted to flee from police but was arrested after a brief foot chase.

He was then charged and taken to jail.
