WOODLAWN – Illinois State Police responded to an ambulance fire on westbound I-64 near the Woodlawn exit just before 9 Tuesday night. It became fully engulfed.
The driver of the ambulance, their passenger and patient were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
