MT. VERNON – SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation has announced that the application for the 2025 Dr. Jean M. Modert Scholarship can be found online by visiting givetossmhealth.org/GSscholarships.
“With a heightened focus on recruiting and retaining local talent in our area, this scholarship is a tremendous opportunity for our employees and/or local students pursuing a degree in health care,” shares Kay Zibby-Damron, Foundation Director at SSM Health. “Dr. Jean Modert’s family, through their generosity and desire to honor their family legacy, are contributing to the growth of quality health care in our community.”
The Dr. Jean M. Modert Scholarship was created to encourage excellence and financial support to current employees of SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital, and to current students, seeking a degree in a health care field or additional certification/credentialing, especially those pursuing careers in nursing and other allied health care professionals. Scholarship amounts may vary with a minimum allocation of $1,000 per year.
