CROSSVILLE – White County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Carbondale man on a White County warrant for Failure to Appear following a traffic stop around 10:50 Friday night in the 400 block of Rudolph in Crossville.
According to the sheriff’s office, Danny L. Stephens was taken to and lodged in the White County Jail.
A deputy saw Stephens going south in his vehicle and knew he was wanted. The deputy turned around and got behind Stephens who failed to signal at Davenport Street. The deputy stopped Stephens and they both got out of their vehicles. The deputy told Stephens he had a warrant. Dispatch confirmed the warrant was valid along with Stephens’ driving status. Stephen was then taken into custody and taken to jail. He was released from jail around 11:30 Friday night.
